How Decorate Your Own Duck
(DYOD) Contest Works
Getting started is easy! Follow these four simple steps to join the Decorate Your Own Duck (DYOD) contest. From picking up your duck to showing off your creativity on race day, every decorated duck helps support the Mount Airy Duck Race and our local community.
Step 1
Get Your Duck
Make a $20 donation to receive your official duck to decorate.
See pick up locations below.
Step 2
Decorate
Use your creativity to decorate your duck however you'd like. Make sure to display in your yard.
Step 3
Return Your Duck
Bring your decorated duck on race day or drop it off the week before at:

Step 4
Race Day
Your decorated duck will be entered into the official Mount Airy Duck Race.
